"We are so grateful for everything you guys were able to accomplish with him this summer!"

- Parent of a past camper

"Handwriting Solutions has a special connection with kids that is absolutely undeniable. My rising second grader took a much-needed handwriting camp last summer.  I was worried about "selling" the idea to my busy, active kid who'd rather be playing sports.  However, all it took was one session and he couldn't wait for the next day!  They totally "get" young kids and make camp experiences fun, multi-sensory, and make them feel so welcome."

- Parent of a past camper

"Writing on the chalkboard is my favorite!"

-Past camper

"I learned about spaghetti and meatball spacing"

-Past camper

"Thank you both so much! I am so thankful he was open to trying it. He had a great time and told me that he wished he had it more days. He has continued in the workbook."

"I know what small, tall, and fall letters are now!"

How does virtual camp sessions work?

While virtual is not for everyone, we have had great success for our students. Even if your child hated virtual school during the pandemic, our sessions are individualized which is much more motivating!

What technical setup do I need?
You only need a computer with internet connection and a built-in / or external camera in order to join the video call. The video call with be through Zoom or Google Meet, but you don't need any account for this. For some materials you need access to a printer beforehand.

How big are the groups?

Each camp group is limited to 4 participants so that our tutors can cater to each individual and make this as impactful as possible for them.

Is there a minimum group size?

Yes, we require at least 3 participants per group. If this isn't reached, we remain the right to cancel the camp and you can either choose a full refund or switch to an alternative camp date.

What if my child isn't open to handwriting practice during school holidays?

We strive to make all our handwriting tutoring fun and motivating for your children, since that is when they learn the best! Hear if from the parent of a past camper:

"I was worried about "selling" the idea to my busy, active kid who'd rather be playing sports.  However, all it took was one session and he couldn't wait for the next day!"

Who will be hosting the sessions?

Our winter camp will be hosted by our handwriting tutor Grace.

Your Host - Grace Culberson

Grace enjoys working with children to help them become more independent and confident! She has been an OT since 2018 and currently works as a school-based OT. Grace has experience helping students of all different ages ranging from Pk-12 grade. She has experience with handwriting curriculum and uses an individualized approach to tutoring.

Your child's handwriting will NOT get better with time.

They need explicit instruction, multi-sensory learning, and a systematic approach to get results! Guess what? Our camp does just that!
