Handwriting Foundations Club
Is your child struggling with clear and confident handwriting?
It's time to go beyond temporary fixes and build real, lasting skills.
The Handwriting Foundations Club offers a structured, small-group program focused on sustained improvement - not just a quick fix. Your child will experience weekly growth that sticks, at a smaller price than 1:1 tutoring.
✔️ Small groups to give each student individual instruction and support, based on their unique learning needs.
✔️ Research-based approach in the form of multi-sensory, engaging and playful activities that build confidence, fluency, and handwriting skills that last.
✔️ Measurable progress so that by the end of the 6-week program, you’ll see visible improvements in letter formation, sizing, spacing, and confidence.
This is the right fit, if your child...

Struggles with clear and confident handwriting (e.g. letter formation, size, spacing, letter reversals or line placement)
-
Experiences an awkward pencil grasp
-
Avoids handwriting and easily gets frustrated
-
Complains of sore or tired hands when writing

Frequently Asked Questions
💻 How do virtual club sessions work?
Virtual sessions look identical to in-person. The instructor demonstrates and facilitates through Zoom or Google Meet with highly engaging instruction. While virtual is not for everyone, we have had great success for our students. Even if your child hated virtual school during the pandemic, our sessions are individualized and engaging which is much more motivating!
🎧 What technical setup do I need?
You’ll need a computer with internet access and a built-in or external camera. Sessions are held via Zoom or Google Meet, and you don’t need an account to join. Some materials may require a printer, which we’ll send you in advance.
✏️ What about materials?
Upon enrollment, you will get a list of materials from us to purchase for your child (approx. $50 in total). We will share the direct purchase links for Amazon, so you can easily get everything you need. Some materials you may even already have and don't need to purchase, and you can continue using a lot of them after the club, as well!
👥 How big are the groups?
Each camp group is limited to 4 participants so that our tutors can cater to each individual and make this as impactful as possible for them.
🌍 Can international participants also join?
Yes, all our virtual camps are open to participants worldwide.
☑️ How do I know if this is the right fit for my child?
If your child struggles with handwriting and needs more than just a short exposure (like summer camp), the Handwriting Foundations Club is a great choice. If you’re unsure, we can help guide you toward the right program. Book a free 15-min consultation or reach out to kelli@handwritingsolutions.org with your concerns.
👩🏫 Who will be hosting the sessions?
All the camp sessions will be guided by one of our highly-trained tutors. For this camp, your host will be Tayla Martin.
