Developmental Teaching Order
For Cursive Handwriting

Handwriting follows a developmental sequence shaped by motor skills and visual perception. Rushing this process can lead to inconsistent spacing, letter reversals, and a lot of frustration.

Meet Kelli

MS, OTR/L
Educational Consultant & Certified Handwriting Specialist
Founder of Handwriting Solutions, LLC

"As a mom to a child with dyslexia and dysgraphia, I’ve lived the homework meltdowns, the “I hate writing!” tears, and the panic of watching my bright kid slip through the cracks. That’s why my team of 8+ rockstar handwriting tutors and I are on a mission: to turn “I can’t” into “I DID IT!” for every child through 1:1 tutoring, teacher trainings and other support for educators.

When I’m not geeking out over pencil grips or plotting new ways to make writing fun, I’m wrangling a middle-schooler, 2 high-energy dogs, 1 cat, an entrepreneur hubby, and a calendar packed with pickleball, tennis, book club, and lunch dates with my small group of close friends."

Kelli is a Certified Handwriting Specialist and has practiced occupational therapy for 14+ years. She has experience in pediatrics as well as specific training in learning disorders including dysgraphia and dyslexia.
